Spring Tradeshows

Tuesday, March 06, 2018
It's been a busy start to the year with exhibitions in New Orleans (UCT) and Indianapolis (WWETT) where we doubled our normal booth size and showed multiple Shooters with various accessories.  One of the new products offered this year is a basic Shooter for those who want something similar to the original model but with a lower cost than the flagship self-lubricating and ruggedly mobile hand truck.  The basic Shooter uses the same body but with a simple top funnel (no knife gate, no oiler system) and sits on a simple A-Frame.  It is easily portable with two people and still puts liner in the ground like Shooters have been reliably doing since the 1990's. Like all Shooters, it's solidly built to last for years of commercial use and retails for less than $20,000.

If you didn't get a chance to see us at WWETT or UCT, we'll be exhibiting in Palm Springs at No Dig the third week of March.  We'll again have multiple Shooters where you can get some hands on time and see for yourself why so many are fans of the simple and effective, stoutly built, user-friendly Shooter.  And we're still hearing how much operators love our lubrication system with overspray guard that keeps them dry during installation, and the knife gate for after the tail passes.  The new hand truck model is sure a fan favorite.  And for those of you who have been in the business a long time and know Steve, our founder and inventor of THE SHOOTER, the first continuous air-inversion machine for cipp, we're happy to have Steve along with us at No Dig!  Stop by the booth #563 and say hello.  We'd love to see you and thank you personally for your business or new interest!

THE SHOOTER with Water Inversion

Thursday, February 08, 2018
THE SHOOTER is mostly known for reliable and fast air-inversion with steam cure for quick, efficient pipe relining, but what if you're in a tight easement with difficult access on a job requiring a water installation?  Perhaps there's not room for that water tower truck but you do have THE SHOOTER and the optional water cure flange.  By using air to invert the liner down the MH and just into the host pipe, you can then add water for an air/water installation.  Continuing with both air and water, the liner will fill and remain inflated as the inversion continues.  The lay flat is pulled in by the tail during the second half of the shot as with any water install. With the liner inverted and the head pressure sufficient to prevent deflation, remove the top funnel and replace it with the water cure flange (see photo).  By using the 4" port on the water flange and one on the back of THE SHOOTER, hot water can be recirculated and the liner cured as normal.  The photo shows the curing set up using an original style Shooter.

The new ruggedly mobile hand truck with built-in lubrication system and knife gate allows THE SHOOTER  to easily get to manholes with difficult access, and the optional water cure flange makes THE SHOOTER an even more versatile asset for underground construction companies.  Give us a call at (541) 504-0416, x-6 or stop by our show booth to see THE SHOOTER and accessories in person.  We'll be at the WWETT Show booth #6430 in Indianopolis, Feb. 22-24 and the No Dig Show in Palm Springs booth #563 Mar. 26-28.  Stop by, we'd love to see you!

UCT 2018 New Orleans

Monday, January 08, 2018

Happy New Year!  2018 is shaping up to be a busy year following a very good 2017.  Thank you Shooter fans for all your faithful business and great conversations!  We're looking forward to the spring trade show season beginning with UCT in New Orleans in just a few weeks.  Once again we'll be exhibiting THE SHOOTER 12 with built-in lubrication system and knife gate on the very mobile hand truck, perfect for tight easements and off pavement situations. We'll also have information on the larger trailer-mounted 24.  Will you be in New Orleans for the show?  Please stop by booth #625.  We'd love to meet you and discuss how THE SHOOTER can simplify and speed up your cipp work.  Thanks for your interest!  See you at the show!

No Dig 2017 in DC

Wednesday, March 22, 2017

We're excited to be heading to the Gaylord Resort in Washington, DC for the big NASTT No Dig Show in a couple weeks.  Will you be there too?  With the combination NASTT and ISTT this year's No Dig will have an international flair and is the biggest trenchless event of 2017.  If you haven't yet seen THE SHOOTER in person or if you'd just like to stop by to say hi, we'll be in booth #242.  We'd love to see you!

Thanks for stopping by the booth in Indy

Thanks for coming by THE SHOOTER booth in Indy this past week.  It's people like you that make the trade shows so enjoyable.  We appreciate all the positive feedback from both longtime Shooter users and the growing number of new fans who've made the switch to the best continuous air-inverter available.  Though THE SHOOTER was the first continuous air machine for cipp and is responsible for many miles of relined pipe, a commitment to innovation and improvement led us to the redesign two years ago that made a great inverter even better.  From the ruggedly mobile hand truck with built-in lubrication system complete with overspray guard for dry operators, to the knife gate for more efficient inversion, flat-free tires, perforated bin for wrenches and other tools, high quality nozzles, gauges, regulators, stainless tubing, durable design and fabrication and powder coating, we spared no feature that any of us would want on the best inversion machine around.  Thanks again for all the comments and growing interest.  And if you haven't yet seen the new Shooter, come by the No Dig booth in April (Booth #242).  We'd love to meet you!

Covered in Oil?

Thursday, September 15, 2016
One of the more common statements heard from users of our new model of THE SHOOTER® is how well the lubrication system works and how dry it is for the operator.  Some have even told stories of previously having to wear goggles rather than safety glasses but not with THE SHOOTER®.  A very simple and effective guard prevents both overspray from the lubrication nozzles as well as any upward spray from inversion air.  Once the lubrication air and oil pressures are set, the operator can simply concentrate on the liner speed and installation.  The feedback from the new system has been overwhelmingly positive, even called "brilliant!" so if you're tired of mineral oil on you rather than on the liner where it belongs, please give us a call.  THE SHOOTER®, simply the best machine for municipal CIPP and trenchless sewer repair.

THE SHOOTER® Training

Thursday, July 07, 2016

We received a call two weeks ago from a contractor looking at moving up from small laterals to larger mainlines and was in need of some equipment.  He said THE SHOOTER® had come very highly recommended and after some conversation with us it turned out he already had a job bid with a very short window for completion.  We were able to help him get a 24" SHOOTER with all the necessary ancillary equipment, as well as provide a day of training at our facility before his rehab work two days later.  After picking up three guys at the airport, we gave them a quick tour of our facility and commenced to introductions and walkthroughs of both THE SHOOTER® 12" (for 6-12" pipe) and THE SHOOTER® 24" (for 15-24" pipe).  We discussed the necessary equipment and safety, proper LIPs seal adjustment, setting up a shot, lubricating and inverting a liner, the cure, and what happens afterward.  Then came the practice shot with a dry liner in the yard using a 12" SHOOTER and some 8" x 6mm, which moved easily under low pressure in a slow, controlled inversion across the lot.  It was a hands on session for them.  After any remaining questions were answered, they were back on a plane and anxious to prep and shoot the run.  We were very happy to hear a report after the holiday weekend that their install went perfectly.  In fact, he said the easiest part of the entire operation was inverting the 15" liner with THE SHOOTER®.  His experience previously has only been with small inversion drums, and the ability to have longer runs in larger pipe with the original continuous air-inversion machine was just what he said he's been looking for, especially with a machine that isn't difficult to understand or operate, and really does well what it's designed to do.  Glad everything came together for him on such a tight schedule!

Fabulously Busy!

Friday, June 17, 2016
What a busy month we've had here at Emagineered Solutions with a furious run of multiple purchases of the new Shooter with lubricating hand truck and knife gate.  THE SHOOTER has been flying out of here two at a time in many cases with one company even buying four in less than a year they like it so much.  One of the quotes I heard from a contractor who did his research by checking with current users of the new Shooter for their opinion, said he was told that once they bought the new Shooter from Emagineered, the very popular inversion machine they'd been using before has been "just collecting dust."  That's the kind of testimony that makes us proud of our product, which we make right here in Redmond, Oregon.  We're a small company that takes care in the design and craftsmanship so when we get a sudden rush of Shooter sales that wipes out our inventory, it takes a month or so to build it back up again.  We're in that process now, so if you're interested in the best inversion machine out there, give us a call, we can get you formal pricing, but it will be a few more weeks before we'll have any units to ship.  That's not a bad problem to have.  Thank you for your business and for the great testimonies about how well THE SHOOTER puts liner in the ground and keeps your business competitive!
